Cache is King!

We are Geocachers! It started as a small hobby over the summer, and became quite an obsession. Once The Punk realized that there was stuff in some of the caches - and stuff he liked in others, it became a team sport.

He loves getting trinkets, Hot Wheels, Legos, and other small items from the caches we find. I slove that we get out and about together - and do more than just use the slide over and over at our local parks. I think Geocaching is something The Punk and I will do together for a long time.

And it goes like this...

Music is a big part of our lives. Huge. Gigantic, even. The radio is always on in the car. Pandora is always on at home. We love music. And the Punk is a big fan too. We don't listen to a lot of "kids" songs. I am sure he could sing The Itsy Bitsy Spider if he really needed to, but I love that he can belt out Yellow Submarine any time he feels like it.

And so - along with my love for music The Punk inherited my love to dance like Mick Jagger.

Neither of us do it well, but we both have a BLAST! And the Maroon 5 song "Moves like Jagger" is right up our alley!

Just shoot for the stars... You've got them moves like Jagger!

Grumpy to Grinning

When your morning starts out grumpy, and you can't seem to find the letters (or good mood) you are looking for - take my advice: Make Chocolate Pumpkin Muffins. No one can be grumpy when they are about to devour the goodness of chocolate.

Outdoor time!

The Mighty Squirrel Hunter!

We spent quite a lot of morning times outdoors all Summer and Fall. It was 100+ degrees most days, so our regular School Time was interrupted with Outdoor Time so we wouldn't bake in the afternoons.
